More on how we work as a fractional CMO
As a "fractional" Chief Marketing Officer, meaning one that you share with other firms, we serve as your thought-partner in developing and executing a marketing strategy that serves your firm's needs and fits within your budget. Strategy is developed in two stages:
1. Foundations
We clarify who you are as a firm, what your goals are, your key messages for each constituent, and what resources we have available and parameters we need to work within. You may be ready to move forward with creating collateral with the foundations you have already laid, or you might choose to do some deep work at this stage, for example:

research into your ideal clients & creating client profiles, buyer personas, and customer journeys

2. Storytelling + Channel Selection
Once the foundations have been laid, our strategy will involve choosing what kinds of stories, using what kinds of media, and distributing across which of the channels below.
Storytelling is my catch-all term for various kinds of content. Often the same story can be repackaged in different formats to appear in different places or in front of different audiences. We make sure each story is in alignment with your mission and values, conveys your key messages, and is told in your brand voice.
Channels can include your website, social media, thought leaders & brand ambassadors, advertising, media & public relations, events, strategic partnerships, or even guerilla campaigns. (The "story" we tell on your website also can include an SEO audit and strategies to help your ideal clients find you.)
3. Building out a team [optional]
At various stages in your marketing journey you may need team members with specialized expertise, such as graphic designers, web developers, filmmakers, or subject matter experts. Through the Evergold Strategies network, we can source, onboard, and manage those vendor relationships on your behalf, or we can collaborate with the vendors and consultants you already use.
